Fort Ben Writers is a 2016 Arts in the Parks Project conducted by resident poet Liza Hyatt at Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis, IN.  This project is part of Indiana’s statewide bicentennial celebration and is funded through the Indiana Arts Commission, the Department of Natural Resources, and Indiana’s Bicentennial Commission.

In boxes located throughout the park, ten different writing prompts have been provided. These prompts are also each posted on this website.  Writers who respond to these prompts can submit their writing for publication.

All writing contained in this online literary forum must be written in response to visits to Fort Harrison State Park, which is located at:
